In Loving Memory
Heaven will be sweeter and more beautiful, more to be desired because of the entrance through its shining gates of our Loved One who left this earth on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. We express our sincere and deep felt sympathy.
Our beloved former Pastor, Leader, Friend, and Mentor,
The Right Reverend Bishop Leamon Dudley, Sr.
An honorable and esteemed servant of God, full of theological wisdom, impeccable character, a man of integrity and great honor, and a faithful member of God’s Family, offered himself in dedicated service to Christ and our community, transitioned from earthly labor to a glorious heavenly home.
Bishop Dudley exemplified an unwavering commitment to Christ Jesus, touching many individuals in a positive manner, serving the people of God in countless positions, including Pastor, advisor, and beyond. He leaves many noteworthy accomplishments that he achieved that will never be forgotten. Bishop Dudley was active, until illness forced him to slow down, as a vibrant, loving leader, visionary, teacher, and compassionate Pastor of Greater St. Bethel United Holy Church for over forty-six years, where he graciously provided honorable, respectable, loving and Christian example for his church family. Bishop Dudley is absent from the body; leaving family, church family, friends, members, and acquaintances to mourn his passing. We join together to honor and praise God for his long and well lived life.
So, as we reflect upon Bishop Dudley’s life and accomplishments, let us think of the last and sweetest homecoming in the Father’s house of many mansions. May the blessed Lord come into our hearts more completely, and may we rest our weary souls on him.
The Greater St. Bethel United Holy Church of America, Inc, Middlesex, North Carolina, under the pastorate of Elder Ralph E. Love, Jr., on this thirtieth day of November, in the year of 2011; offers our condolences to the Dudley Family, in fond and loving memory of the Right Reverend Bishop Leamon Dudley, Sr., a faithful servant and honorable Christian gentlemen, and commends him to the everlasting loving care of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved and served with distinction.
